Your Help for Tita Jen Makes a Difference
This year became the hardest year for all of us in our family as our beloved aunt and our "Tita" for years is now experiencing her own personal struggle.
My Tita Jen has Stage 4 breast cancer.
That stage is the most threatening one.
We have tried everything just to survive this illness and up until now, the only thing that we need to do now is through your help and support for her and to all of us.
This is why my sister, Miyaki, created a GoFundMe campaign to create funds for Tita's cancer battle and we need your urgent help to collect $ 10,000 fund for this campaign.
At the time of writing this blog post,
We have received $ 100 by 5 different donors, including my sister Miyaki and my tita Rosalie.
Let's help our Tita Jen win this battle through this fund along with your thoughts and prayers for both healing and a speedy recovery of our auntie.
A message from the creator of the campaign:
"I am making this as a last effort to save the life of my aunt, a mother to a 14 year old, and caregiver to my whole family in the Philippines. She has had breast cancer for almost a year now, but when it was discovered it was already in stage 4. It has progressed, and she now lives in constant pain with no options. If she does not get help soon, her chances of survival dwindle with each day.
My aunt Jennifer is the third child of my grandma; she has been through this before with my other aunt Cristina, my grandma’s first born child. My aunt Cristina died in April 2007 with thyroid cancer. She couldn’t get the treatment that she needed because our family just simply did not have the money for it. She suffered through a lot of pain and so did the rest of us; my grandma, her siblings, and son. Her son was about to graduate college at that time and she wanted to be there for him, however, she did not make it. It took us a great deal amount of time to move on especially my grandma. She was the light of the family, she was full of hopes, dreams, and happiness so when she past away it was difficult. My grandma always talks about her and she will always be in our hearts. This suffering that we are going through again is more difficult than the last.
I don’t think my family should go through this again. I think that my aunt Jenny should be able to see her daughter grow up, finish school, start a family on her own and more. I don’t think her daughter should live without a mother on her side. Her daugther barely started her life and she needs more guidance and care. She needs her mother.

Jennifer is a very kind caring person. She puts everyone’s needs before hers. She would sacrifice everything to able to feed my family back in the Philippines. She basically keeps everyone moving and takes care of what the family needs. My grandma has diabetes and knee problems to where she has to be careful walking or standing too long. My aunt takes care of her and her needs; they both take care of each other. My grandma is currently very emotional, well everyone is, and she cannot stand the fact that her daughter is in a worse position than she is.
Please help my family through this and send prayers our way."
